Drama club rehearsals have officially started as students prepare for this year’s spring musical, Frozen. Rehearsals started as soon as students returned from Christmas break and are currently being held in the music room. Attending music rehearsals, practicing harmonies, and learning choreography are just some of the ways drama club is perfecting the performances happening in May.

Students are excited to be a part of drama because it provides a fun, welcoming space, where long-lasting friendships are easily formed. Rehearsals allow students to work together, support each other, and grow close together as a cast. The choice of Frozen as the spring musical has only added to the excitement, with its well-known songs, loveable characters, and magical storyline, making every rehearsal something to look forward to. One drama club member shared her excitement: “We’re getting a lot done for the spring play. Everyone has a lot of fun here. Doing harmonies and choreography is my favorite thing to do.”

As a member of drama club, it’s amazing to see all the hard work and creativity come together. It’s a great way to hang out with friends, try new things, and be a part of something we all care about. I’m excited to keep practicing and can’t wait to show Fontbonne the magic of Frozen this spring!
