Information has spread worldwide that the Government of Iran has taken violent measures to silence its civil disobedience protestors. Phone lines were opened back up after being shut down in order to silence its citizens from inside the Islamic Republic. Two Iranian sources told the company “CBS” that at most 30,000 people have been murdered.

The massacre took place on January 8 and 9, 2026. Iranians were protesting against the Iranian Republic’s rule. They want to keep their economy aligned. There has been a confirmed protest for this cause in 187 cities and towns across all 31 Iranian provinces.

A popular phrase that was being chanted in the streets was, “Women, Life, Freedom!” There was an extreme call for women’s rights in Iran. On the day of the protest, Thursday, January 8th, there was a blackout. The internet was cut off everywhere. The Iranian government has taken violent measures by inflicting brutality on its people. A 16-minute video was released showing the massacre during the protest. This lasted until Friday, the 9th.
