Olivia Rodrigo Starts Up The Unraveled Tour!

After 3 years, Olivia Rodrigo finally began her 3rd tour, titled ¨The Unraveled Tour,¨ based on the lyrics to her song ¨The Cure¨. Rodrigo released her 3rd studio album titled You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love on June 12th 2026 and announced her tour a few months before on April 30th. 

The tour began on September 25th, in Hartford Connecticut at PeoplesBank Arena. Fans were amazed by the stage setup, the merch, and the setlist. The stage was covered in flowers, making it feel as if Olivia was standing in a beautiful flower field, which was very different from her butterfly shaped stage from the GUTS World Tour in 2024. The set also has a dome shaped screen which shows Rodrigo herself sleeping in a bed of flowers ahead of the show, and through the show the screen showed song lyrics, and clips of Olivia in different seasons. 

The show was split into four main acts, themed based on the 4 seasons, as well as an encore. Act 1 : Spring, Act 2: Summer, Act 3: Fall, Act 4: Winter, and finally the encore which is considered Spring 2. Rodrigo picked specific songs that fit into each season. The setlist order, according to Rodrigo herself, was meant to be the order of a relationship, from the fresh first date, in love feeling, to the hard times and the unfortunate breakup. The show also includes 4 different stages, the main stage, a B-stage, and 2 other mini stages. 

The highlight of the show is when Rodrigo performs ¨The Cure¨. During the performance, Rodrigo sings the bridge in the rain, and her dress dissolves (or rather ¨melts¨ away) and reveals a new dress underneath. This transition amazed fans, as it was something no artist had ever done before. After this performance, Rodrigo changes into jeans and either a t-shirt or tank top, a simple outfit, however it makes the audience feel as if they are just at a hang out with their friend. It feels more sentimental and comfortable. Rodrigo's hair also remains wet for the rest of the duration of the show, after performing in the rain. 

Rodrigo is constantly changing her shirts for the Summer Section of the show at each different show. She also switches between songs or even adds some surprise songs. For example, during her second show in Washington, D.C, she sang ¨Love is Embarrassing¨ instead of ¨So American.¨ Rodrigo also has been known to  switch out songs, add songs, and add little surprises that give fans a thrill!

Rodrigo will be coming to Brooklyn, NY at the Barclays Center from February 11th to the 28th. Fans are so ecstatic to see what surprises she has planned for the rest of the tour!
