After watching the movie Regretting You, I can definitely say it is a must-watch. It delves into the complex relationship of a mother and daughter, followed by a ton of grief and love. Morgan and her daughter, Clara, struggle to stay calm and manage their grief as they are met with huge losses. The two most important people in Clara’s life, her father and aunt, tragically passed away in a car accident together, leading her uncle and mother to believe something suspicious was going on. This would later reveal deep secrets.

Not only does the movie showcase grief and conflict, but it also shows love and moving past your problems. Clara meets Miller Adams, a boy whom she is initially skeptical of, but soon comes to develop a close bond with. In a way, Miller healed Clara through her grief and gave her clarity during a hard time. The way the actors McKenna Grace and Mason Thames portrayed Clara and Miller made it seem like they had a genuine connection.

The movie was gentle and light-hearted, enhanced by a soft soundtrack that also had emotional depth—a characteristic that highlighted the isolation of Clara and Morgan in their time of grief. Towards the end, Clara and Morgan begin to communicate and share their honesty, leading to healing.

Overall, Regretting You is a heartfelt drama that anyone who has experienced loss or family conflict can connect to.
