February’s False Hopes

Winter comes in

Shut in

Your room, lying

Sometimes feels terrifying

Shivering and catching colds

The uncontrolled wind which blows

You think this will be your year

But when has it ever

A stupid superstition

Which makes you think of a false aspiration

January passes

February arrives

Makes you start to think love will too

Middle of the month

Will you find it this time

Will it be true
