Rolling Loud in New York is coming up soon, and I’ll tell you everyone is very excited. New York previously had its first experience of Rolling Loud in October 2019. Now Rolling Loud decided to come back and it’s going to be another one for the books. Rolling Loud is known for its multiple-day festivals consisting of many different artists performing. It originally started up from two regular teenagers, Tarig Cherif and Matt Zingler who went from throwing house parties to throwing one of the most well-known music festivals in the country. Rolling Loud has artists performing such as Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Megan the Stallion, Doja Cat, ASAP Rocky and Young Ma. Rolling Loud used to never take place in New York but usually in California or Miami where people from all over the world would come just to witness these amazing artists. This will be just the second time that Rolling Loud will take place in New York, specifically in Queens at Citi Field. Here are some tips on how to survive at Rolling Loud, so pay attention. Beware, there is barely any cell phone service during these few days. Rolling Loud starts in the afternoon around 2 pm and ends at night around 11 pm, so bring a portable charger. You must have a clear plastic bag with all your belongings. Rolling Loud provides amazing food with multiple different food companies (shoutout to Big Mozz, the best mozzarella sticks you can find), so bring lots of money for lots of spending. Always have water so you don’t dehydrate. Although Rolling Loud is fun it is also dangerous so you have to be very careful when you are in the crowd or buying concessions. Be very aware of your surroundings. Specifically in the crowd during popular artists, things can escalate a lot in a matter of seconds. Cans, bottles, shoes, clothes and even hair gets thrown around during an artist's performance. So if you’re tall be extremely careful or else you will get hit with a can and possibly get a concussion. Beware of mosh pits - one of the craziest things to ever be invented. One minute you can be jumping with everyone and the next minute you’re on the floor and everyone is stomping on you. Overall, Rolling Loud is an experience that you will never forget. It makes you feel alive, constantly giving you adrenaline and just fulfilling you with happiness. If you miss out on Rolling Loud this year, don’t worry. There’s always next year (and the year after that, and the year after that).
