Sabrina Carpenter’s new tour is nothing short of sweet! The “pop princess” officially began her tour, starting with the American leg, on September 23, 2024. She has recently ended the American leg of the tour on November 18, 2024. The Short N’ Sweet Tour is in support of Sabrina’s 6th album, Short N’ Sweet, that was released in August. The setlist includes 21 songs, and includes hits from both Short N’ Sweet (2024) and her second album Emails I Can’t Send (2022).
Sabrina kicked off the tour in Columbus, Ohio, opening with her hit single “Taste.” To start off the tour, Sabrina took off a towel wrapped around her body, and revealed her first outfit of the night, a bedazzled babydoll nightgown. She continues the hype with stellar performances of her songs “Good Graces,” “Espresso,” and “Juno.” Sabrina even treats the audience with acoustic vocals for some songs. The tour is truly a display for all of her talent. Sabrina’s stage presence is captivating, and the pair of her good vibes and humor are prevalent throughout the entire concert experience. According to one fan who had the opportunity to go to the Short N’ Sweet tour, it was, “unforgettable, interactive, and a very good time.” The Rolling Stones also commented on the tour calling the vibes something of “A dazzling slumber party.”
Things that sets Sabrina’s tour aside from all the others are the special bits she does during her concert. For example, during the mid-section of the concert, she plays “spin the bottle,” but with a twist. Sabrina spins the bottle on a platform with four numbered options on it. Each number has a song assigned to it, when the bottle lands on the number, she will sing the song assigned to it. So far on her tour this game led her to sing: “Material Girl” by Madonna, “Kiss Me” by SixPence None The Richer, “Mamma Mia” by ABBA, and many more iconic & popular songs.
Many fans, including myself, are very excited to see what new and great things Sabrina does with the Short N’ Sweet Tour. They are expressing their excitement for possible future collabs, added songs, and even more holiday themed concerts. Overall, Sabrina’s tour has shed a light on her talents as both a gifted musician and as a brilliant performer. She has the ability to captivate her audiences with her humor and passion, and she has a long line of success in front of her.
