As the new series Squid Game takes the number one spot on Netflix, every day new people around the whole world are watching. Over 111 million people have watched this season. Squid Game is staged in South Korea, based on traditional children's games. The final player standing wins 45.6 billion dollars. In the first episode Seong Gi-Hun bets all of his daughter's birthday money on horses. He loses the first couple rounds, but then wins 4 million dollars. Later in the episode he is in the train station waiting for the next train. He is approached by what he thinks is a business person trying to sell something. Gong Yoo asks him if he wants to play a game. He denies at first but after some convincing he plays. Fast forward he is trying to flip the red card over with the blue card. After hours he finally flips it and he wins money. Gong Yoo asks him if you want to play similar games like these and win cash. He hands him his card. Second episode Gi-Hun is in a room filled with beds and other participants, ready to play the Squid Game Overall this is a very interesting series and a must watch! It’s filled with so many emotions and ups and downs. And everyone I’ve spoken to says the same thing.
