Fontbonne Celebrates Courtesy, Pride & Respect Week 2023

Ava Mollaghan '23

Every February Fontbonne celebrates CPR week, which stands for courtesy, pride and respect. CPR week is an opportunity to show the people that mean the most to us that we care about them. This year we were able to take extra time during the school day to show the entirety of the Fontbonne family that we love and appreciate them.

The week was filled with all fun events. The week started off with Fontbonne Merch Monday. Tuesday was red and pink accessory day and the first annual Freshman/Senior Sister Valentines Day breakfast. Wednesday was administration appreciation day combined with crazy hair day. Thursday was faculty and staff appreciation day with a schoolwide dressdown! Friday was Student Appreciation Day! Everyone got the day off to start February break a day early.

Mr. Cleary shared his thoughts on the week, “My favorite day of the week was administration appreciation day. Most people do not understand the difficulty of the administration’s jobs. They run the school behind the scenes. We make it known that their hard work does not go unnoticed.”

Fontbonne’s Student Activities Council sold heart-shaped lollipops for 50 cents every lunch period throughout the week. Students were able to buy a lollipop either for themselves or a friend.

The Student Activities Council also decorated the faculty room with decorations to show our appreciation and support for our amazing faculty, administrators, and staff.

Ms. DeLuca shared her thoughts on this, “This was so sweet and thoughtful! Most appreciative!”

CPR week was a success! Thank you to our administration, faculty, staff, and students

who made this week one to remember!
