The Fontbonne Junior class had their prom this January 26th at the Dyker Course Golf Club. As a junior myself, I can tell you the inside scoop of the night!
Once everyone arrived at 6 pm, all dolled up and said their hellos, a night full of dancing began. We danced to top party hits and did the Virginia Reel, a dance each junior learned in her PE class. The dance floor was filled all night!
The photo booth was especially popular, which had a nicely displayed background for us all to take pictures in front of. Memories were made and the photos we took will keep them alive forever. Teachers also took pictures at the booth! If you stop by Mrs. Nicoll’s classroom, you’ll see several printed photos of her with some of her juniors at the prom.
I know I had such a fun time, but let's hear from one of my classmates. Naomi Phillip-Stoute ‘26 recalls, "The prom was fun. Mrs B alongside Angie Morency and Lucy Khulmann did a wonderful job organizing it. I feel it brought everyone together."
The prom was a success! Our class made memories that will last a lifetime and we look forward to our next one together in senior year.
