On April 9th, the juniors reached an enormous milestone in their academic life: receiving their class rings. Despite the frigid temperature, it was a complete success and a beautiful day for all.
In the morning, the juniors got to share the day with other grades as well as the faculty. As all things at Fontbonne, the event began with a mass. The priest blessed the rings and left the juniors with words of wisdom as they entered their final year at Fontbonne.
After the mass the juniors had the opportunity to take a trip down memory lane, and presented numerous items that represent exciting memories throughout their high school journey.
Sports night jerseys and the sophomore sleepover hoodie were presented as a way of remembering the laughs that were shared at these events.
A montage of pictures from the last three years was shown which brought laughter and a flood of emotions to every junior. This was a representation of all the memories that have been made and the friendships that have been unlocked in such a short period of time.
Later in the evening the juniors were able to share the experience with their families and friends. During that ceremony, the juniors finally received their rings and were recognized for all they have accomplished until this point.
