Hi everyone! My name is Tessa Lomoro, and I am one of the Chief Editors of the Folio for the 2025-2026 school year. The Folio has always held a special place in my heart. I loved being a junior editor for the past two years and working with the other editors and the club for the past three years. However, as you may know, I do so much more for the school. As a nervous freshman, I wanted to get involved in everything that I could and see where that would take me. Four years later, I am still involved in most activities that I started with, but have expanded and taken on new opportunities. Although I have gone through so much change in my four years, I have maintained the spirit I have had since I was a freshman. And I have grown into the person that I want to be at Fontbonne. This includes my appreciation for each leadership opportunity, the open houses I have organized, and the people I have worked with throughout these four years. As someone with big ambitions, I have many ideas to make this year with the Folio more fun and engaging. Besides our regular order of monthly articles, my hope is to produce a paper copy of the Folio for the club members to have as a keepsake. The Folio has been a Fontbonne staple for a long time, and before it was digital, articles were printed on a physical newspaper and distributed. As a senior, I would appreciate this memento more to remember the good times and hard work I put into the Folio. I would also like to expand the Folio’s social media presence, whether it is releasing articles or the link to the Bonnie Blueprint on Fontbonne’s social media pages, or making announcements about a new monthly issue on morning announcements. Bringing our club’s hard work to the Fontbonne community is important to me, especially because of our dedication to writing about our school. As Chief Editor, I hope to bring new ideas, collaboration, determination, and positivity to this year’s Folio, so each member can have a fun year exploring journalism through each article.
