It comes once a year and gets fans prepared and getting hyped, can you guess? Yes, the Super Bowl! The Super Bowl game is an excitement on its own, along with the Halftime performance. But another one of its main attractions between this football game is the commercials. Here are a bunch of some big ads that happened for the big game.
The Super Bowl’s best commercial got their viewers yelling and pulling their hair out.
Tubi is a streaming service and a high-content platform by Fox Corporation. Prompting this multiple times during the Superbowl, this ad in particular is the most remembered. While people are watching the commercials waiting for the game to come back on again, all you hear is, “Don’t change the channel” or “Who’s on the remote!” Yells are thrown across the room and get the viewers freaked out. This commercial was the greatest prank of them all. It appeared as if someone was switching channels off the Super Bowl, while it was just showing Tubi’s different features. Even though this commercial stirred the pot, it was funny that the audience was pranked so well.
Another hilarious commercial included music icon Jack Harlow, who was sponsoring Doritos’s new flavors. He then discovers, from the power of the triangular chips, that to get the right beat he will use a triangle. He then goes on to make a hard beat that gets the crowd wild from just the triangle. He drops everything and the triangle becomes his career. From the runway to triangle haircuts on a dog, triangle fever blossomed throughout the world. But unfortunately for Jack Harlow, as he munches on his Doritos, Elton John wins best triangle player. This funny, unexpected, and thrilling ad grasped people's attention. The big brand Doritos will be getting even more love for their new flavor of barbecue because of this.
In addition, another commercial that got our attention was the Dunkin Donuts one. As customers pull up to get their order at Dunkin Donuts they see the famous actor Ben Affleck working there. They laugh and take pictures with him. Jennifer Lopez casually goes through the same Dunkin Donut drive-through and randomly sees Ben Affleck working there. As they exchanged questions about why he was working there, the audience laughed at this coincidence and this amazing rekindled couple.
One of the funniest people known, Will Ferrell is featured selling electric GMC cars. Trying to find out which direction he is going, he doesn't realize he is in a zombie apocalypse and casually makes conversations with them. Will never fails to get the audience laughing and he exactly accomplished that in the ad.
In another, Brie Larson and Jon Hamm are stuck in a refrigerator with Mayo. Questioning why they are here, they realize they are about to have dinner… a “brie and ham and mayo sandwich.” Unexpectedly, the familiar face of Pete Davidson makes his appearance and opens the fridge to make himself a sandwich with delicious mayo.
Alicia Silverstone from Clueless was also spotted during one of the Super Bowl ads. She urges people to save during these uncertain times, while reenacting a scene from iconic the movie Clueless, made in 1995.
The popular artist Nick Jonas embraces his medical diagnosis of diabetes in another ad. He says that Dexcom is a game-changer for all diabetics. People can normalize this condition after seeing someone they idolize dealing with it.
Lastly, from the multiple refreshing Pepsi ads, two well-known actors Ben Stiller, and Steve Martin made their grand appearances, displaying their acting skills in humorous ways.
All these commercials caught so many people's attention, whether you watch the Super Bowl because you love football or just to get a laugh out of things like these. This attraction never fails as the years go on.
