The Oscars is an award show that recognizes the achievements of celebrities, and showcases some gorgeous style. The 2024 red carpet had many stunning outfits! These are some of our favorites:
Zendaya in Giorgio Armani Privé
Zendaya wore a one-shoulder Giorgio Armani Privé gown. This gown was made up of antique rose, silk and embroidered palm trees. Her jewelry includes pink-gold, diamond earrings. She was styled by Law Roach, who styled Zendaya during the Dune 2 press tour.
America Ferrera in Atelier Versace
America Ferrera is wearing a custom couture pink chainmail dress by Atelier Versace. The dress is fitted exceptionally on her and hugs her perfectly. She was wearing jewelry by Pomellato which included a Castello necklace.
Lupita Nyong’o in Giorgio Armani Privé
Lupita Nyong’o wore a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown. The gown was in a powder blue with crystal bead embellishments, pale blue feathers at the hem and peplum waist, and a deep V-neckline. The dress she wore was a homage to her dress during the 2014 Oscars.
Ariana Grande in Giambattista Valli
Ariana Grande is wearing a custom pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown. The dress was a strapless ruched column gown with matching pink pumps. She has on necklace and earrings from Tiffany & Co.
Although there were so many gorgeous outfits, there were still some disappointments. Some of them include:
Erika Alexander in Christian Siriano
Erika is wearing a white column dress with a train. A black skirt with different colored tulle was added. It’s paired with black elbow gloves and a flower necklace which doesn’t help with the busyness of the dress.
Laura Karpman in Dries van Noten
Laura Karpman can be seen wearing a silver sequined suit from Dries van Noten. Underneath is a low-cut silver sequined blouse. It’s accessorized with pearl necklaces and silver glasses hanging off the blouse. The bag she is holding is a Cadbury Milk Handbag that is covered in purple spangles and rhinestones.
Michelle Yeoh in Balenciaga
Michelle Yeoh is wearing a custom sequined Balenciaga gown with a train that is dark gray on the top and a lighter gray on the bottom. She is styled with black opera gloves and black pumps. The dress was made up of three vintage couture dresses. Her watch is from Richard Millie and her earrings are from Cindy Caho.
Emily Blunt in Schiaparelli
Emily Blunt is wearing a haute couture Schiaparelli gown from the Spring 2024 runway. The dress has an “underwear” design in silver. The straps are floating which makes the dress look less fitted. Her hair is also styled poorly into a bun which doesn’t help compliment the dress.
