Out of the Blue, This Might Be the Year for Big Blue

The Giants have put frowns on their fans' faces since 2013, considering they haven’t won a Super Bowl since 2012. However, those frowns might turn upside down this year.

It is October 24th and the Giants are 6-1 placing second overall. Much of their success and acclaim results from new Head Coach Brian Daboll, who has excelled far beyond expectations.

Coach Daboll is quoted in the New York Post as saying, “ I think focusing on things that happened in the past don’t do you any good — you gotta learn from ’em — and thinking about things that can happen in the future do you no good because you better stay right in the present, focus on the things that you can control.” So far, this mindset has worked for the Giants and hopefully will for the rest of the season.

Their roster includes players like Daniel Jones, their starting quarterback, and Saquon Barkley, their leading running back. These players have been pulling through for the offense along with the rest of the offensive linemen and receivers – a mix of players due to injuries and performance levels. The offense is led by Coach Mike Kafka, a rookie coach who is skillfully leading the offense to wins in the 4th quarter of games.

The defense has been ferociously led by Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams. Coach Wink Martindale has been outstanding and has kept opponents guessing every game.

The next game is October 30th, against the Seattle Seahawks, who have a 4 and 3 record.

Will Big Blue take on the Bowl? What’s next in store for the Giants?
