The streets of New Orleans were crowded with thousands of excited football fans for the Super Bowl LIX. During the thrilling show on February 9, 2025, the Philadelphia Eagles dominated with a score of 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. The win was secured during the second half of the show and marked their second Super Bowl victory.

The game kicked off, and the Eagles began dominating with a powerful defense that kept the Chiefs to just 23 yards in the first half. Jalen Hurts, the Eagles quarterback, gave a remarkable performance and scored two touchdowns. Of course, the public couldn’t forget Kendrick Lamar's Halftime performance, with guest appearances such as Sza, Samuel L. Jackson, and Serena Williams. The game kicked off again while the Chiefs tried their hardest to fight back in the second half with Patrick Mahamos throwing a 50-yard touchdown pass to rookie Xavier Worthy, but it just wasn’t enough to win.

The Eagle's defense kept the Chiefs on their toes and even managed to sack Mahomes six times. The Eagle’s Cooper DeJean intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown becoming the second rookie in Super Bowl history to achieve a pick-six.

The Eagles eventually had the game in hand and marked their second Super Bowl championship, their first one since Super Bowl LII.
