CPR Week is a Fontbonne tradition that showcases the school's love and respect for its employees and students. This week is dedicated to the people coming to our beloved school each day and takes place between February 12th to February 16th. Some of the preplanned fun includes a bake sale, dress down, and breakfast for the faculty.
SAC worked endlessly on making this week as fun as possible for the faculty and students. Although facing inconveniences, like snow days, students still had a week full of courtesy and respect.
The highlight of the week for the staff was the faculty breakfast which was full of items all donated by the lovely student council girls. The faculty room was decked to the nines, covered in all pink paper finery. Everything was well thought out and prepared by Julie DiCapua and Sharlotte Greene, as well as the wonderful moderator Ms.Cook.
Ms. Cook stated, "CPR Week was a chance for the Student Activities Council to offer some fun and treats to faculty, staff, and students. We enjoyed planning the Faculty and Staff Breakfast, especially. President Julie DiCapua and Vice President Sharlotte Greene took on every single aspect of this week with drive and enthusiasm. I am so proud of every SAC girl for bringing something to the table!"
President Julie Dicapua 24’ also stated when asked about her feelings towards the outcome of CPR week, "Planning CPR Week was so enjoyable especially since we were able to show everyone in school the appreciation that they deserve. I'm very proud of SAC for the hard work and dedication that they put into this - they truly are a great group of girls! I can also say that none of this would've been possible without Ms. Cook and Sharlotte Greene who put everything they had into making this a special week! I hope the faculty, staff, and students enjoyed themselves and know how appreciated they are!"
The appreciation for the week was evident with all the thank you emails sent by teachers following the breakfast. And for the students, a dress-down and day off are phenomenal ways to start off our February break.
