Spooky season is upon us and that means one of our favorite traditions at Fontbonne Hall Academy is coming up. Students are filled with excitement to showcase their creative costumes, and as a freshman myself, I am exhilarated to experience it for the first time. Fontbonne Halloween is a fun way for us to recognize one of the worlds most commonly celebrated holidays, and a memorable event for us Bonnies.
On October 31st, all students are allowed to wear their best costumes to school, and enter into our annual costume contest. Some of the favorite costumes from last year were the Stranger Things gang, and The Smurfs. Teachers also love to participate in the Halloween excitement, and have dressed in matching costumes such as the characters from Inside Out and 80’s girls.
For their senior year, the class of 2024 are all dressing as hotdogs to make sure they have a memorable last Halloween here at Fontbonne Hall Academy. Their year coordinators, Ms. Nichol and Ms. Sosa, are dressing up as ketchup and mustard.
Olivia Teich is a freshman, and the younger sister of Julia Teich (class of 2023) “Seeing my sister dress up for Fontbonne Halloween in the past with her friends made me excited for my first Fontbonne Halloween.”
Mikayla Joseph is a sophomore, and can’t wait to celebrate her second Halloween here. “I think it's a great way to connect with my friends through our shared love of Halloween, and fun costumes.”
Julianna Bambina is a senior, and remembers past Halloweens here. “I love seeing people go all out with their costumes. It’s truly a great way to celebrate Halloween.”
I’m so excited for Fontbonne Halloween. I personally can’t wait to see everyone’s amazing costumes, and especially who will win the costume contest.
