Meet the Junior Editor: Tessa Lomoro

Hi everyone! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Tessa Lomoro and I am a junior. This is my third year in The Folio and my second year as a Junior Editor. 

For the writers of The Folio, yes, I am editing some of your articles and proofreading them to be put in the paper. As someone who loves getting involved, when asked to be a junior editor, I immediately said yes. Writing has always been a large part of my life, so The Folio was a club I looked forward to joining at Fontbonne. It is a creative space to express opinions and explore new writing styles in journalism. 

I’m looking forward to working and collaborating with other members and the leadership board to make this the best year yet. One of my favorite aspects of the newspaper is being able to work on and research a variety of topics. Student journalists can write articles that review an artist’s album or discuss thoughts on Sports Night, which both interests and excites me. 

I hope, as Junior Editor, that students will feel free to talk to me or the leadership board about The Folio or anything else. We have so many ideas in mind and welcome many more!
